Aunt "Carrot"'s Salad Dressing
From Aunt Karren:
This dressing was responsible for Jacob finally eating salad. Once we got him to try it, he decided salad wasn't a bad thing.
- 1/2 cup cold pressed canola oil
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 3/4 cup rice wine vinegar (unseasoned) (can substitute red wine vinegar)
- 3-4 garlic cloves
- 1 Tbsp fresh minced herbs (oregano, thyme, basil, rosemary, etc)
- 3 tsp salt
- 1 tsp white pepper
Combine all ingredients. Shake well and enjoy over mixed greens or pasta salad.
For best results, make the night before.
