Apple Orchard Bars

Notes:

Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 cup apple, peeled and chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups cocunut
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tsp vanilla
Directions:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together butter and sugars. Add baking soda, salt, baking powder, vanilla, cinnamon, and eggs. Mix well. Then add the oats, chopped apple and 1 1/2 cup coconut. Add the flour and mix thoroughly. Spoon into a greased 9x13 pan. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup coconut evenly over the top. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until slightly browned on top. Let cool and cut into bars.
