Shortbread Cookies

  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups butter
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 cups flour

Cream butter, add other ingredients, and roll into log shape. Chill for approximately 1 hour. Slice (floss works best) and prick each cookie with a fork. Bake at 300-325 for 20 minutes.
