Swedish Farmer Cookies

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 tbsp dark corn syrup
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar

Cream butter, add sugar gradually, blend in syrup and nuts. Stir in baking soda and flour and mix well. Roll into log shape and chill for 1 hour. Slice (floss works best). Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
