Cherry Cobbler


  • 1 can cherry pie filling
  • 1 cup Bisquik
  • 1 tbsp butter, softened
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp slivered almonds


Heat oven to 400. In ungreased 1 ½ qt casserole dish, mix pie filling and almond extract. Place in oven for 15 minutes or until hot and bubbly. Mix Bisquik, sugar, milk and butter with fork to form soft dough. Stir in almonds. Drop dough by spoonfuls in 6 portions onto hot cherry mixture. Bake 20-25 minutes or until topping is light brown.
