Apple Dumplings


  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 12 oz Mt Dew
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • 2 pkgs crescent rolls


Melt butter, add sugars and cinnamon, and stir until dissolved. Peel, core, and quarter apples. Unroll crescent rolls, keeping two sections together so as to form a rectangle. Place 1 piece of an apple in each rectangle. Fold crescent roll up to cover apple. Place in a 9 x 13 pan. Pour cinnamon sugar mix over the top and Mt Dew over all. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes.
