Salisbury Steak

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ lbs hamburger
  • 1 egg
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup water
  • ⅛ tsp pepper
  • 2 cans beefy mushroom soup
  • chopped onion

Directions

Mix thoughoutly ¼ cup soup, beef, egg, onion, bread crumbs, and pepper. Shape into patties. Brown in skillet and pour off grease. Stir remaining soup and ½ cup water together. Pour over patties. Cook over low heat for approximately 20 minutes. Serve over mashed potatoes.
