Better Than Almost Anything Cake


  • 1 pkg German chocolate cake mix
  • 1 pkg toffee bits
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 17 oz caramel or fudge ice cream topping
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • Water, oil, & eggs as called for in cake mix


Mix and bake cake as directed on package. Cool for 15 minutes, then using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes in cake about every 1 ½ inches. Pour condensed milk over the top of the cake, wait 5 minutes and pour ice cream topping on top as well. Refrigerate at least 2 hours. Frost with cool whip; sprinkle toffee bits on top. Keep any leftovers in the fridge.
