Flatbread

Yields: 8 flatbreads

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ¾ cup water

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt until blended.
  2. Make a well in the middle of the flour mixture.
  3. Add oil and slowly incorporate the water.
  4. Once mixed, kneed the dough until smooth.
  5. Let the dough rest for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Divide into 8.
  7. Roll each piece in flour and roll into a disc roughly ⅛ inch thick.
  8. Cook on a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat
